Underground Stories

These are the powerful testimonies of believers who have experienced God's faithfulness in underground nations—while we cannot share names or photos, we invite you to read their stories of hope and perseverance below.

A Miracle of Healing

I came seeking healing after struggling with severe knee pain, barely able to walk. When I was prayed for, something miraculous happened—my knee popped, and I instantly felt relief! Glory to God, I have been walking pain-free ever since, something I never thought would happen.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Psalms 147:3

Delivered from Darkness

I had not known peace for many days. In these prison walls, I was tormented by demons and felt like I was losing control. One day, I decided to visit the faith dorm, desperate for help. Through prayer and deliverance, the chains of darkness were broken, and I rededicated my life to Christ. Now I have peace like never before.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

John 8:36

Hope Restored Behind Bars

Prison had taken away my hope, and I had fallen into despair. But during one of the prayer services, I encountered the love of God in a way I never imagined. I was prayed for in the faith dorm and felt a wave of peace and restoration wash over me. Today, I walk in hope, knowing that even in these walls, God is with me.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11

Courage in Persecution

In my country, being a Christian means living under constant threat. I’ve lost friends and family, and the pressure to give up my faith has been overwhelming. But during a recent gathering, I was able to be encouraged and uplifted by the word of God. The team stood with me in prayer and faith.  God has given me the strength to endure persecution, and now I am more determined than ever to live boldly for Christ.

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 10:28

Freedom in Christ: 70 Women Saved in Henley State Jail

We had the opportunity to minister in Henley State Jail, a women's prison in Texas, sharing the truth of Jesus Christ. As the Word of God was preached, we witnessed a powerful move of the Holy Spirit. The presence of God filled the room, and one by one, women began to stand up, tears in their eyes, responding to the call of salvation. By the end of the message, 70 women had given their lives to Christ, declaring Him as Lord and Savior! What the world had written off, God had redeemed. This was a testimony of true freedom—not just from physical chains but from the bondage of sin!

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

John 8:36

Christmas Blessing: Feeding 75 Families in India

This past Christmas, The Underground was blessed to provide essential food supplies to our family of believers in India. With great joy, we distributed rice bags to 75 families, ensuring they had nourishment during the holiday season. In a time when many struggle to meet their basic needs, God made a way for His people to experience His provision. This act of love and generosity was a testament to the faithfulness of God and the unity of the body of Christ across nations.

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.

Matthew 25:35

Healing Power: A Tumor Shrinks by Faith

During one of our trips to Uganda, a mother brought her young daughter to us, desperate for a miracle. The child had a tumor, and the doctors had little hope to offer. But we know the power of God is greater than any diagnosis. We laid hands on her, anointed her with oil, and prayed, believing in the healing power of Jesus. Days later, the mother reached out to us, rejoicing! She testified that her daughter’s tumor had started shrinking, and she was feeling much better. What man could not do, God did! This was a reminder that Jesus is still the Great Physician, and His healing is still available today!

For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord.

Jeremiah 30:17

Deliverance and Peace in Uganda

In Uganda, we saw the mighty hand of God at work in a way that words can barely describe. People came in carrying burdens—oppression, anxiety, fear, and torment that had plagued their minds for years. As we prayed and worshipped, the power of God began to break strongholds. People fell to their knees, weeping as chains of depression and fear were lifted. Some testified that for the first time in years, they felt peace—true, lasting peace that only Jesus can give. Demons were cast out, and souls were set free. These revivals weren’t just meetings; they were divine encounters.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

2 Corinthians 3:17

Evangelism in Uganda: 12 Men Receive Christ

In Uganda, we took to the streets, preaching in the open air, proclaiming the message of salvation. As we lifted our voices and declared the Gospel, people began to gather. Some were curious, others were drawn by the power of the Word. In the crowd stood 12 men, listening intently, their hearts stirred. As the call to salvation was given, all 12 of them stepped forward, boldly declaring their decision to follow Christ. We prayed over them, and you could see the transformation on their faces—joy, peace, and a new sense of purpose. It was a reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God's love, and His Word never returns void!

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

Romans 10:14
