First Mission to Pakistan

"Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all peoples."

In March 2024, The Underground stepped onto Pakistani soil for the very first time. What began as a single journey of faith became the beginning of a lasting relationship with the people, pastors, and communities God would entrust to us. We arrived expectant—not with our own agenda, but with a simple desire to love people, strengthen the local Church, and proclaim the hope of Jesus Christ.

Throughout the mission, we traveled into villages where families gathered with open hearts to hear the Gospel. We worshiped alongside local believers, shared the Word of God, prayed with men, women, and children, and witnessed the beautiful unity of the body of Christ across cultures and languages. Though we came from different parts of the world, we were united by one Savior and one mission.

One of the greatest joys of the trip was spending time with children. Their laughter, curiosity, and eagerness to learn reminded us of the words of Jesus:

"Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

We celebrated baptisms as believers publicly declared their faith in Christ, rejoicing together as lives were marked by the goodness and grace of God. We also had the privilege of encouraging local pastors and church leaders who faithfully serve their communities every day. Their steadfast commitment to the Gospel, often in difficult circumstances, was both humbling and inspiring.

As we prayed with families, listened to testimonies, and shared meals together, we were reminded that missions is not simply about traveling to another nation—it is about walking alongside people, strengthening what God is already doing, and building relationships that reflect the love of Christ.

Looking back, this mission was far more than The Underground's first trip to Pakistan. It was the beginning of a partnership that continues today. It marked the first chapter of a growing story of faith, one that has expanded into ongoing ministry, leadership development, and opportunities to continue serving the people of Pakistan with the hope of Jesus Christ.

We left Pakistan deeply grateful for every person we met, every conversation we shared, every prayer we prayed, and every life that touched our own. As we boarded the plane home, we knew this would not be the end of the story—it was only the beginning.
